Methods of Payment:
La Scrapbookerie accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card. Orders via regular mail can be paid by Canadian postal money orders. International orders may only be paid by credit card. For Quebec, Ontario and some Maritimes provinces only: it is also possible to pay your order using Desjardins’ Accès D Internet.

Conditions of Sale:
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Freight, Customs and Brokerage fees and sales taxes where applicable are extra and are added to the sale price. All prices are subject to change. All price changes are posted on this site. The price you pay is the price posted at the time of purchase.

For "Out of Stock" items: our shopping cart system will indicate when an item is temporarily unavailable with a red "X" though the shopping bag icon. When this occurs, it will not be possible for you to purchase that item until sufficient inventory is restored.

All orders are processed in their sequence of arrival.

Delivery advisories
In the event that La Scrapbookerie is unable to meet the aforementioned delivery deadlines, you will be advised as soon as possible. You may make arrangements to cancel your order at this time. Some conditions apply.

Delivery charges
All delivery costs are extra and are indicated at the time the order is placed. All orders to Canadian destinations are shipped via Expedited Parcel through Canada Post. This insures and guaranties your order.

Returns and Exchange:
All sales are final. Items damaged in transit will either be replaced or credited at your discretion. Defective products must be returned to La Scrapbookerie at your expense.

Correction or Cancellation of your order:
Any correction or cancellation to your order must be made within 12 hours of its posting.

Workshops:
The cost of workshops is payable in advance. Workshop fees are non-refundable. Use of basic tools such as cutting tools, punches, embossing gun, etc. are provided on loan during workshops.

Workshops are presented when numbers warrant. If sufficient numbers are not achieved, the workshop will be cancelled. In this case you will be contacted by phone and will be given the opportunity to choose another date.

Site Security:
All purchases are processed by a secure payment system using SSL.2, 128-bit encryption, which is the actual norm security wise. All transaction data (details of the order, client identification, credit card number) is encoded and directed from your computer to the Scrapbookerie's server, who is the only one that can unscramble it.

Promotional Mail (SPAM):
No electronic or regular mail promotions will be sent without your prior consent.

URLs and other links to sites outside:
La Scrapbookerie is an accredited merchant with The Consumer Aid Service. Neither The Consumer Aid Service nor La Scrapbookerie is responsible for links to outside content.

Complaints:
Please address any complaints by email, phone or regular mail to the contact information at the bottom of this page. All complaints are processed within 15 days of receipt.

Collection and Use:
La Scrapbookerie collects two types of information about its customers. The first is general information about visits our site, the number of pages visited, the amount of traffic at a given period of day and so on. This is done to ensure the quality of your visit to our site.

The second type of information collected is the type you send us through your orders: name, address, telephone number, and email address. Your personal information is used strictly for the proper processing of your order, subscribed promotional information should you request it and on occasion in complaint resolution. Should the need arise to use a customers personal information for reasons other than those already listed, La Scrapbookerie does so only with the express permission of the customer.

Customer Consent:
No information is gathered without your consent. However, by placing orders you automatically provide consent that enables proper order processing. You may remove your consent by contacting Claire Petit or Suzanne Gillett via regular mail, email or by phone. See the contact information at the bottom of this page

Customer Information and Third Parties:
At no time is any of your personal information sold, published or distributed to any individual, company or third party. All information given by you to La Scrapbookerie is used strictly for reasons listed in the paragraph entitled Collection and Use.

Retention of Customer Information:
Your person information may be stored as computer data and may also be stored as hard copy. Only a select few at La Scrapbookerie have access to your personal information, (name, address, phone number, internet address) and this information will be stored for an indeterminate period of time. Credit Card information that you may have provided to us directly through written consent is protected with every means possible. Please refer to the paragraph entitled Site Security regarding customer credit card information through order processing.

Warning: Sending credit card information via email is not recommended, as the information is unencrypted, thus subject to interception. If you choose to send credit card information to us via email, La Scrapbookerie accepts no responsibility if during the course of transmission of the email, the information becomes lost or stolen or intercepted.

You may request and have corrected any of your personal information stored with La Scrapbookerie. See the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Policy Changes:
Changes to this privacy policy may occur at any time and will be posted on this page and the date of the changes updated.
